What does the Booster contain?

The Booster contains a combination of Apigenin, Resveratrol, Pterostilbene, Ubiquinol and Betaine. It is formulated with extra virgin olive oil for optimal bioavailability, as some of its ingredients are better absorbed and therefore more potent when taken together with a fatty source. This means that our Booster can also be taken without food.

The Booster contains 150 mg of trans-Resveratrol from Veri-te™ (Evolva, CH), 100 mg of Ubiquinol (Kaneka, Japan), 50 mg of Apigenin (FinestNutra, CN), 50 mg of Pterostilbene (Silbinol®, Becarre Natural, FR) and 50 mg of Betaine. The Booster is designed to work in synergy with the NMN (methyl-group delivery, enhancing bio-availability and inhibiting NAD+ breakdown) and protects you from cellular damage. 

The apigenin and resveratrol contained in it inhibit/regulate an enzyme (CD38) that itself breaks down NAD+, resveratrol also leverages Apigenin's bio-availability, pterostilbene leverages NMN bio-availability and betaine is itself a methyl donor to form NAD+ and support DNA methylation. On top of that, it is very easy to get methyl groups plenty of it from food (vitamin B from legumes and whole grains, eggs, etc.) so it is not really a problem for most people. However, if you are on a vegan diet or have the genetic mutation MTHFR which makes the methylation process less efficient, it is advisable to take an additional methyl donor such as the betaine described, which is included in our booster. In short, together with our NMN, the Booster promotes the maintenance of NAD levels and delivers potent cell protection molecules.
